YALEPIC® HiFi Phi29 DNA Polymerase is recombinantly expressed and purified from Bacillus subtilis bacteriophage Phi29. It exhibits exceptionally high processivity and strand displacement activity, enabling the unwinding and replication of complex DNA structures. The enzyme is commonly used for isothermal DNA amplification reactions in vitro without thermal cycling. A single polymerization reaction can synthesize DNA fragments exceeding 70 kb in length, making it ideal for whole-genome amplification. HiFi Phi29 DNA Polymerase efficiently amplifies both linear and circular double-stranded DNA, and is particularly suitable for amplifying single-stranded DNA or RNA templates. Additionally, the enzyme possesses 3’→5′ exonuclease activity and ultra-high fidelity, rendering it ideally suited for in vitro plasmid preparation and whole-genome synthesis.
